Dahlia & Lilac Fundraiser Jan ’24

Dahlia and Lilac need spays! From our Instagram post: Spaying is one of the best things you can do for your female rats. Spaying can reduce the risk of developing mammary tumors by over 90% when performed young, but it still provides protection against hormone-sensitive masses when performed on adults or seniors. If masses still develop, they generally develop more slowly. Spaying also eliminates the risk of pyometra and uterine cancers, ovarian cysts, and reduces the incidence of pituitary tumors by as much as 20%. For a long time now, we have opted to spay every female rat we have adopted, and this is the philosophy we bring to our sanctuary as well.

If you want more than just paintings, check out a Device Wallpaper Pack or one of our Beautiful, Hand-made Cage Ropes Sets!

If you want to donate to the sanctuary directly without purchasing a product with a one-time or recurring donation, you can do that here!
